John Vanek will present "The End of Anonymity: How I Identified My Sperm Donor Father (A DNA Case Study)." This presentation will teach you how to use DNA in your family research.
Vanek is a professional genealogist from Eden Prairie, Minn. He has a master's degree in American History and a past career in museums. He specializes in solving problems using DNA.
The presentation will be located in the upstairs meeting room of the Lawshe Memorial Museum.
As we finalize our merger with the Dakota County Genealogical Society, we will increase the number of genealogy related programs. We will host four "Genealogy Presentations" throughout the year, taking place in February, March, September and October.
