June 1
Program - "Modern Interpretations of Historic Designs"
A juried competition for needle workers and crafters will be introduced on the LeDuc Historic website (www.dakotahistory.org.) Guidelines for those interested in competing will be listed with the 20 patterns chosen for interpretation.
June 19
Exhibit Opening & Program - "Needlework Antiquities"
LeDuc Historic Estate, 7:00 p.m.
A crazy quilt donated by quilters from the national online Crazy Quilt List and assembled by local volunteer and historian Cindy Thury Smith will be hung. Annette Fisher & Dottie Bronowski discuss their collections.

Musical Program & Reception - "A Tribute to Carroll Simmons and His LeDuc Legacy"

A panel discussion presented by relatives, friends, and people who worked with Simmons.

Quality Antique Show & Sale

Friday, July 18 - Noon to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 19 - 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, July 20 - 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

High quality antiques from leading Minnesota dealers for show and sale throughout the estate. Have your own antiques appraised on on Saturday by licensed appraisers.

Lecture - "Hastings Needlework Day"

Dr. Ann Braaten will talk about her extensive research on the Hastings Needlework business and patterns. This was an extremely successful business started by the LeDuc girls. Janie Darsow will demonstrate and teach embroidery techniques. Other textile arts will be represented.
