Accessioning in View: The Lockheed Martin Collection
Ongoing
Lawshe Memorial Museum

In a museum, “accessioning” is the process of adding items to the existing collection of artifacts. This involves doing inventory, cleaning, researching, and cataloguing all the objects. Normally, the process is done in private.

In this exhibit, you will be able to see the accessioning of a large collection of materials donated from Lockheed Martin and its predecessor companies.
